Description :
Tropical shrub grown as an annual. The slightly rough leaves have a surprising pineapple taste and are perfect for flavoring your cold drinks. Growth is rapid and vigorous , the habit is regular and \ tidy.\ The type of plant that naturally forms homogeneous clumps or hedges. Pineapple sage can easily reach over 1 meter in a season. Bright red flower spikes appear at the end of the stems during the fall , if they have not been pruned during the summer.
